Am 3. Spieltag der Saison verließ Martín Albano Pierucci nach 923 Spielen den Verein. Er ist somit der derzeitige Rekordspieler der Infracorps. Als A-jugendlicher stieß er in Saison 58 zur ersten Mannschaft und absolvierte insgesamt 8 Saisons für das Team. Man erreichte das Saisonziel und wurde sogar 4. Ärgerlich war dabei, dass der 2. nur 3 Punkte Vorpsung hatte und man mechfach in der Saison unnötig Punkte hatte liegen lassen.

Am 11. Spieltag der Saison verließ Denis Carballo nach etwas mehr als 815 Spielen den Verein um noch mal eine neue Herausforderung bei einem höherklassigen Team in Spanien zu suchen. Daher musste dringend Ersatz auf der linken Verteidigerposition gefunden werden, was dann am 12. Spieltag durch die Verpflichtung von Erim Uzun geschah. Der erst 19-jährige Verteidiger gilt als ein großes Talent und soll nun in die Fußstapfen seines Vorgängers treten.

Am 14. Spieltag der laufenden Saison war es soweit. Unser Team verlor sein erstes Spiel. Dass am darauffolgenden Spieltag direkt die zweite Niederlage folgte war schmerzhaft, da man die Tabellenführung nach 10 Spieltagen auf Platz 1 abgeben musste.

Der 31. Spieltag bescherte unserem Team die Tabellenführung zurück nachdem man den stark, jedoch perspektivlos, aufgerüsteten Tabellenführer mit 2:1 im heimischen Stadion schlug. Die Fans waren begeistert ob der beeindruckenden Leistung und dem Siegeswillen des eigenen Teams.

Die Freude über Platz 1 wehrte nicht lang. Bereits am darauffolgenden Spieltag verlor man die Spitze erneut, konnte den zweiten Platz jedoch ohne Probleme behaupten, sodass der Aufstieg groß gefeiert werden konnte.

Nach einem sehr guten Jahr folgte ein sehr schlechtes. Der zu Saisonbeginn zum Geschäftsführer ernannte Paul Raapke musste den ersten Abstieg der Vereinsgeschichte schon 3 Spieltage vor Schluss verkünden. Aber von vorne:

Die 61. Saison lief von vorn herein durchweg schlecht. Zwar konnte man in den ersten Partien noch Spiele für sich entscheiden, doch das Ausscheiden der altgedienten, erfahrenen Spieler machte sich sehr bald bemerkbar. Das Fehlen von Führungsspielern wie Biyogo Karaha oder Gianmario Bacciaglia sorgte dafür, dass das Team ziemlich schnell erkennen musste in einer sehr starken Liga gelandet zu sein.

Es setzte eine Negativ-Serie nach der anderen, sodass das Team zwischenzeitlich mehrere Spieltage auf dem letzten Tabellenplatz verweilen musste. Die magere Ausbeute von 28 Punkten bedeutete am Ende Platz 17 und den Abstieg in die Kreisliga.

Es lebt sich in jeder Saison natürlich deutlich leichter, wenn der Start nicht sofort verpatzt wird. Völlig unerwartet hat die Mannschaft die mahnenden Worte der Führung nach der eher schwachen Saison in Taten umgesetzt, sodass nach 5 Spieltagen der 2. Platz auf dem Konto stand.

Mit der besten Serie der Vereinsgeschichte (8 Siege in Folge) stand man nach 10 Spieltagen noch unerwarteter auf Platz 1. Es schien, als sei kein Gegner dem Team gewachsen. Nachdem sich am 11. Spieltag die beiden einzigen noch ungeschlagenen Teams der Liga (Infracorps und Ararat FC) gegenüberstanden, wollte auch nach diesem Spieltag keins der beiden Teams auf diesen "Titel" verzichten.

Die ersten Saisonniederlagen setzte es dann gegen die erwartet starken Teams Dynamo Ultras und Volvo Kiel wodurch man zunächst auf den 3. Rang abrutschte. Besonders wichtig war jedoch, dass man die jungen Spieler ins Rennen schickte um Erfahrung zu sammeln. Auch wenn sie die wichtigen Spiele nicht für sich entscheiden konnten, freute man sich trotzdem über eine gelunge Hinrunde.

Da die Ergebnisse den Sponsor sehr zufrieden stellten, beschloss die Vereinsführung das Stadion umzubauen: Die West-Tribüne wurde in einen Block mit überdachten Sitzplätzen umgebaut, der weiterhin Kapazität für 100 Zuschauer bietet. Diese werden nun aber auch bei schlechtem Wetter das Stadion trocken verlassen.

Nachdem das Saisonziel (7. - 9. Platz) bereits früh in der Saison gesichert war, begann das Schau-Laufen. Man verabschiedete sich in den letzten Spielen von den "alten Hasen" der Truppe und bescherte ihnen einen angenehmen Ausstieg aus dem aktiven Geschäft. Die meisten Spieler werden dem Verein erhalten bleiben, da sie wichtige Aufgaben im Trainerstab oder der Vereinsführung ausüben werden.

Sonstiges

Da nach 5 Jahren der Sponsorenvertrag mit dem Trikot-Ausrüster ausgelaufen ist, trennt sich der Verein nun von dem ersten kompletten Trikotsatz.
Die Fans waren einst der Auffassung, dass das Design der Trikots wohl gewählt war. Der Ausrüster hatte einige interessante Ideen und selbst eine durch einen Fan eingereichte Idee samt Skizze fand Zustimmung im Vorstand, sodass folgende Trikot-Designs seit Gründung Verwendung fanden.
Bei den Farben spielte erneut der Hauptsponsor "Infracor" eine große Rolle, denn das Heim-Trikot wurde in den blau-weißen Farben der Unternehmung gehalten um mit Nachdruck auf den Geldgeber aufmerksam zu machen. Das Muster des Auswärts-Trikot hingegen war der Entwurf eines Fans und spiegelte die ursprünglich angedachten Vereinsfarben wider. Beim Ausweich-Trikot und den beiden Torwart-Trikots wurde dem Ausrüster komplett freie Hand gelassen.

In Saison 59 machte sich schnell Unruhe breit, als man nach 5 Spielen noch nichts wirklich zählbares auf dem Konto hatte. 4 Unentschieden und eine Niederlage zeugten von der Verunsicherung in der Mannschaft. Und es wurde anschließend nicht besser: in den folgenden 5 Spielen konnte nur ein Sieg eingefahren werden...

Mit nur 8 Punkten aus den ersten 10 Begegnungen stand man schon früh in der Saison mit dem Rücken zur Wand. Zwar konnten anschließend 2 Spiele gewonnen werden, wodurch der Abstand zu den Abstiegsplätzen zwischenzeitlich vergrößert werden konnte, doch insgesamt blieben die abstiegsbedrohten Teams dicht beieinander. Die Vereinsführung hoffte nach den Siegen auf eine kleine Serie, doch diese blieb leider erstmal aus.

Erst im letzten Drittel der Saison gelang die lang ersehnte kleine Serie mit 6 ungeschlagenen Spielen in Folge. Doch je höher man auf der Leiter des Erfolges klettert, umso tiefer fällt man bei Misserfolg anschließend auch wieder. 3 Niederlagen am Stück sorgten dafür, dass man sich wieder mittem im Abstiegskampf befand.

Die ganz große Erleichterung erreichte den Vorstand kurz vor Toreschluss der Saison: 3 weitere Siege in Folge - die wohl wichtigste Serie in der noch jungen Geschichte des Vereins - bescherte am 31. Spieltag einen Vorsprung von 6 Punkten. Jeder weitere Sieg hätte die sichere Rettung bedeutet. Man hatte es also in der eigenen Hand! Die Geschichte des deutschen Fußballs hat schon oft gezeigt, dass ein Aufsteiger erst im zweiten Jahr richtig gefordert wird, wenn sich Alltag breit macht und die anderen Vereine das eigene Team auch auf der Rechnung haben.

Der Spatenstich zum Ausbau des Stadions wurde in Saison 57 gesetzt als man die Planungen für die neue Saison bereits beendet hatte. Als der DFB dann dem Vorstand den Aufstieg verkündete, glaube man seinen Ohren nicht zu trauen: Es fehlte plötzlich das Geld, welches für den Ausbau investiert wurde, um das Team konkurrenzfähig zu machen. Bereits nach den ersten Spielen wurde den Verantworlichen klar, dass der Weg schnell wieder nach unten verlaufen könnte. Doch am 9. Spieltag konnte man wider erwarten den Tabellenführer SV Werder Solingen in dessen Stadion schlagen und verabschiedete sich langsam aber stetig aus der Gefahrenzone der Abstiegsplätze.

Am 10. Spieltag kam dann erstmals große Enttäuschung bei den Fans auf, da der Gegner Höllenbugel Spachbrücken nicht antrat und somit die fertiggestellte Süd-Tribüne weiterhin auf ihre Bewährungsprobe warten musste. Gegen Ende der Hinrunde konnte man einen starken Gegner schlagen, mit dem man sich am Saisonende noch um die Position streiten würde. Das Spiel gegen FC Cottbus-Hähnchen ging beim überragenden 3:0 an unser Team, wodurch der Klassenerhalt quasi gesichert war!

Die Rückrunde begann so ernüchternd wie die Hinrunde: Nachdem man sich zwischenzeitlich auf den 5. Tabellenplatz vorgearbeitet hatte, musste man nun zusehen wie die anderen Teams durch die anhaltenden Misere nach und nach vorbei zogen. Der Befreiungsschlag gelang, als Trainer Peter010 die Führungsspieler in die Pflicht nahm, die jüngeren Spieler im Team zu leiten und zu weiteren Siegen zu führen.

Als das Saisonfinale begann war die Saison eigentlich schon längst gelaufen und nur die Tabellenspitze (mit der unser Team von Anfang an nichts zu tun hatte) strahlte noch Spannung aus. Erst am vorletzten Spieltag konnte der Zweitplatzierte Stern Marienfelde den Aufstieg für sich verbuchen, als der Verfolger AbYzZ strauchelte. Unser Team hingegen konnte am letzten Spieltag noch einen Platz gut machen, da der FC Cottbus-Hähnchen nicht über ein Unentschieden hinauskam. Somit winkt ein Sponsorenvertrag mit geringfügig besseren Konditionen.

Nach einem etwas holprigen Start mit 3 Niederlagen und 2 Siegen aus den ersten 5 Saison-Spielen, konnte der Aufsteiger sich nur langsam in der Kreisliga profilieren. Es folgte jedoch eine Serie von 12 ungeschlagenen Spielen bei nur 2 Unentschieden, sodass man sich während der Winterpause über den vierten Platz freuen konnte.

Doch man feierte wohl ein wenig zu lang in der Fußball-freien Zeit, denn zu Beginn der Rückrunde brauchte man erst einmal 3 Spiele um zu alter Form zu finden, wodurch man auf den 7. Platz abrutschte. Die erfahreneren Teams aus der Liga schoben sich an dem immernoch sehr unerfahrenen Aufsteiger vorbei. Das sehr gute Punkte-Polster aus der Hinrunde war jedoch so groß, dass der acht-platzierte bis zum Saisonende nicht näher als auf 9 Punkte heran kam.

Mitten in der Saison - genauer gesagt, am 21. spieltag - konnte der Trainer vermelden, dass er im Vorstand noch ein wenig Geld locker machen konnte, sodass sein Wunsch-Spieler Holger Oberst verpflichtet werden konnte. Somit stand dem Team ab sofort ein erfahrener Leitwolf im Mittelfeld als Führungsperson zur Verfügung. Er fügte sich gut und schnell in das Team ein und konnte gemeinsam mit den "alten Hasen" das Saisonziel "Klassenerhalt" erfüllen.

Großen Wert legte Trainer Peter010 im Laufe der Saison auf die Jugend und steckte einen Teil seines Budgets in die Jugendförderung. Man erwartete, dass 2 Spieler den Sprung ins Team schaffen würden. Und es kam sogar noch besser: 3 junge Talente drängten sich auf und schafften auf Anhieb den Sprung in die erste Mannschaft.

Das Team startete mit einem eher verhaltenen, aber nicht all zu schlechten Start in seine erste Saison. Man holte in den ersten 4 Spielen 1 Sieg und 3 Unentschieden. Anschließend konnte man sich mit 3 Siegen in Folge im oberen Tabellendrittel festsetzen. 10 Punkte weiter kam danmn jedoch der erste Rückschlag der Saison: Man verlor beim direkten Verfolger FC Marl 2008 mit 1:2 und musste aufgrund dessen den 4. Tabellenplatz räumen. Diesen kleinen Dämpfer auf die Euphorie konnte die Mannschaft jedoch gut verkraften und zeigte fortan, dass sie am Aufstieg interessiert ist.

Es folgten 16 Spiele bis zum Saisonende aus denen man unbesiegt hervor ging. Die Bilanz von 12 Siegen zu 4 Unentschieden und 0 Niederlagen - mit einer zwischenzeitlichen Siegesserie von 6 Spielen (23. - 28. Spieltag) - sprach für sich, sodass am Ende sogar ein 0:0 Unentschieden am letzten Spieltag reichte, um den Verfolger FC Infracor (den man erst 5 Spieltage vor Schluss überholte) auf Abstand zu halten.

Mit einer Gesamtbilanz von 19/13/1 war man das einzige Team der Kreisklasse 390, das sich an nur einem Spieltag dem Gegner im Ergebnis unterlegen zeigen musste. 45:9 Tore zeugen ebenfalls davon, dass die Einflussnahme von Trainer Peter010 sowohl in der Abwehr als auch im Sturm Wirkung zeigte und man letztlich nicht unverdient in die Kreisliga aufstieg.

Der Aufstieg wurde anschließend in einer gemütlichen Runde gefeiert, da er zum einen ziemlich überraschend kam und der junge Verein in seiner ersten Saison zum anderen nur einige Fans für sich gewinnen konnte. Doch durch einen großen Aufmacher in der lokalen Presse scheint dem Vereins-Sprecher ein guter Griff gelungen zu sein, denn für die zweite Saison meldeten sich einige Fans mit Dauerkartenwünschen. Der Vorstand hat mit solch einer Resonanz nicht gerechnet und muss sich daher in der Sommerpause ein Konzept für das folgende Jahr überlegen, um Wünsche der Fans mit den finanziellen Vorstellungen und Möglichkeiten des Vereins vereinbaren zu können.
